2 piece Rivet-Mate fasteners hold thick materials together

These two piece rivets hold materials from 1/2" up to 2" thick. They "sandwich" materials by inserting one on each side of the application. When the rivet is "pulled" with any functional rivet setting tool, it expands within the "Mate" creating a clamp and hold joint. Two piece fasteners are designed to clamp from each side of the thick application. They are typically used where a smooth, uniform finish apperarnce is desired. They also provide tamper resistance as they can't be un-threaded, or loosened up. Common uses include: security boxes, trailer wall to rail, attaching to fiberglass, or composite materials, highway sign to posts, plastic fence or pipe.
